Thanks From Jeremie Nikiema!

In Sandogo many children get a maladia who call the VARICELLE at school there are five to ten who have it, and other maladia who called ROUGEOLE AND SOMME CHILDREN have it too, But God is good they get well.

About Targho Job had been last sunday with us in Ouaga, at Targho there not bigger problem now, they are so happy with the program.
There is a testimony of a parent at Targho saying.
My child had sickness and every time we are going to the doctors when he get the health card from Hunter the maladia went aways, the health card itself gives health of our chldren, because the maladia knows we have support to go the doctor everytime.

In Sandogo a parent at our church is saying that the project is good welcome, when I take the health card to my home all the sickness went out.

Progress

We have been given/pledged two very large donations, the result of which will be that within the coming months, our infirmary will have a government approved medical clinic and pharmacy which will provide on site free generic drugs to the children registered for the program in Sandogo.

The children in Targho will continue to receive their medication from the clinic in the village with our account, but will soon need food aid, as this is the time of year when their foodstuffs begin to run low.

Many thanks to all those who have contributed to make this possible! The program is soon to be in full fledged operation for the community!

Sourweima Windimi

One of our children in Targho fell down a shaft yesterday and did not recover from her injuries. Her name was Sourweima Windimi and she was about 14 years old. This is very sad news, and is a heavy reminder that a lack of medicine and nutrition are not the only dangers these children face. I pray for her and her family, and those who loved her.

ELCBF Beginning

According to Jeremie the funds in Ougadougou and Targho for the initial start of the medical program are running low and need to be replenished. Luckily fundraising efforts are underway, and there is much hope for a large donation in the near future to resupply Jeremie. Hunter is working to schedule appointments and creating other tools for fundraising.

The total goal for one year for the medical program is $11,056...

If you are interested in helping with your time, please email us! Thank you!
